ZXR750 The Tale of Woe to Go
that'll be unreal when you finish it. make sure you re-instate the 'hoover' tubes tho! they're what made this model special!
is it worth rebuilding the old zxr engine? it would cost lots and there are other options as far as power plant goes...
theres a 98 zx9r engine on ebay at the moment... (no, its not mine) that would make more than enough power for the chassis.
i'm about to put a 98 zx9 engine into a 95 zxr streetfighter chassis, so i'll be sure to stay tuned...

I don't know for sure but I didn't think the 98 + zx9r motor fitted into the zxr 750 chassis as its too wide. I know the 95 to 97 zx9r fitted quite well..BLOOzx9 wrote:that'll be unreal when you finish it. make sure you re-instate the 'hoover' tubes tho! they're what made this model special!

Tape - about the motor. The H1 motor was a retuned GPX750 motor. From what I can gather, the overseas H1's had the letters "H1" in the engine number, whereas as ours have the "FE" letters instead. The "FE" lettering in the engine number signify it as being a GPX750 block. So I guess a GPX motor may fit straight in.
I hope this helps.
didn't read every post, but i reckon go with a 9 motor if you can.
but that may not be as fun as putting the 7fiddy back together.
gove us a shout when u need a hand. i'm nly round the corner.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
