Re: insurance companies

You and your mate live in the same postcode re the ZRX policy? Same mods listed? How did u go with QBE on a quote then?

Possibly the speed triple being a fairly new model has cheaper available replacement parts and less claims history? I dare say after 2-3 years the agreed value and premium would ...

Re: ZRX1200 TOP SPEED.

if he's doing 140's he will be going faster than 260 indicated at the track.

Find a new test track

Yeah, i'm sure he would be, indicated at least. If he could keep the thing on the ground up the PUtty he could be going a lot quicker than that. I cheated a bit, i know he wanted to have a ...

Re: ZRX1200 TOP SPEED.

Mine's an S model so shouldn't be compared to the slower, worse handling R models. But my playschool clock has nudged the $2.80 mark more than once. So at a guess I reckon it's prolly good for a real $2.65 or there abouts. Mind you, I am 6 and 1/2 feet shorter than you and weigh as much as the eye ...

I till him he's a poof all the time and he says "and whats wrong with that"! He also points out that he can 1:40s all day at E.C. on treaded tyres and is not bad for a poof!!!! I might point out ...

ZRX1200 TOP SPEED.

Hey Gents, who has an idea of how accurate the REx speedos are and what sort of top speed will they do? Mine has s slip on, standard gearing, jetted etc and will pull around 10,300rpm in 4th and around 8900-9000 in top, shows about 255 depending on bumps (bit hard to read with one eye at that speed ...

Re: chain

I called the U.S. DID chain distributor and she says the chains are made in Japan. Boy am I fucked up. Maybe I should cut back on the booze. LOL

Re: chain

[DID chains are made in China and are known for their maximum stretch technology. I have several acquaintances who have DID's and swear AT them. As far as I'm concerned DID's are a pile of shit. Buy an EK. I've put 19,000 miles on my replacement EK and have only had to adjust it once, and I'm a ...
