2004 ZX10R

I have the 2004 ZX10R model. I am curious as to whether other owners of this model have got unusually noisy engines. Mine has done approximately 78,000 kms, though this isn't entirely accurate having had different sized rear sprockets at one time. I should point out that I am not a wheelie puller or ...

Re: ZX10R Competition Werkes Slip-On Exhaust

Many thanks for your all your advice. You've answered a lot of questions and confirmed my suspicions about mods. Thanks Oldman for checking up on the Kerker. This is what I suspected. So... it is back to the drawing board. Even Arrow do not seem to make (well I couldn't find in Oz or O/S) a slip on ...

Re: ZX10R Competition Werkes Slip-On Exhaust

Excellent if that's the case. The only other can that would be really cool to have is a Kerker, but I can't find any stockists in Oz or much about ZX10Rs fitted with Kerker!

Re: ZRX: Yoshi or Akra Bolt on?

rooster, Where did you get your Kerker pipe? Been trying to find one for the 2008 ZX10R (locally first, but maybe overseas?).

Re: ZX10R Competition Werkes Slip-On Exhaust

Its a 2008 ZX10R. Well if that's the case, should not be a problem putting this brand on?

ZX10R Competition Werkes Slip-On Exhaust

Does anybody know if there is a need to do any mods to the exhaust system to put one of these Werkes slip-on exhausts? That is anything to do with exhaust valves, or taking cables off or anything?

Re: Can I get smaller throttle tube for the ZX10R?

Appreciate the suggestions about the wrists, but it is actually the thumb joint that is sore. I lay on the tank when I ride the ZX10R. I'm a shortie and can hug it like a koala. And I'm even sillier than I thought - I have a spacer in the spring which makes it even taller, but hey! It's only a ...

Re: Can I get smaller throttle tube for the ZX10R?

I believe racing grips are thinner but harder - so maybe for everyday riding I would not like them. But if there are thinner grips someone can recommend... I'm listening. For me using winter gloves and the fatter grips means I can barely grasp the levers! There is too much padding inbetween! Maybe I ...

Can I get smaller throttle tube for the ZX10R?

Hoping someone out there can help me. I have a 2004 ZX10R. Great bike. Been riding it since about Dec 2009. But I am having some problems with my right hand which tends to get quite sore around the joints in the thumb from having to hold the throttle open. I have little hands (being a girlie) and ...

newbie - Sth Aussie - ZX10R riders

Hi there everyone. Hubby and I are new to this site. We both have ZX10R's and live in South Australia. Hope to read up on a few threads and forums and maybe pick up some good info about Kawasakis.
