welcome back alex, glad to hear your going to get a 10, stay away from those Viffers mate

why dont you get a ventura rack and bag, although its hard to believe you cant get a Givi topbox ?

I cant see any dramas with luggage on a 10, just cause you like to go a long way away, at a very fast ...

Umm, so the ZX-10r is going to be a commuter? Cool!

I suppose that's a bit like putting a towbar on a Ferrari, but you're right Givi doesn't list one for the 10, although it will supply one for a 12 and a 14. I suppose the RJAYs route might be best, although a Ventura soft case might work as well ...

Buy an Rjays topbox for around $150 or less- 45 Litres or so, and it comes with a baseplate to which you will have to fab a mount to the bike. Did this to my ZZR and it's great. It is a Givi copy without the pricetag. You also have the option of a high level brakelight fitted to the back of the box ...

Top box on a ZX-10R

Is it possible to fit in a top box to the 10? The Givi website doesn't list any mounts for Ninjas, are there any other options? dontknow.gif

A top box is an absolute must for me, I will probably sell my soul to a Viffer if ZX10 cannot have one...

Thanks a bunch! :D

Get yourself a used 250cc ZZR. You'll know the answer before you are allowed to ride something bigger ;)

Mine lasts 280km/tank, but I rev it a lot. Just hit reserve a couple of times and you will know when to fill up ;)

Lane splitting, legal or not?

Does anyone know for sure if lane splitting is legal in NSW? I was riding back home from the Sydney Motorcycle Show last Saturday. On one of the traffic lights I lane split and voila, there was a cop on the right lane (on a bike) I stopped just behind him, didn't risk to ride through, but he didn't ...
