Buy an Rjays topbox for around $150 or less- 45 Litres or so, and it comes with a baseplate to which you will have to fab a mount to the bike. Did this to my ZZR and it's great. It is a Givi copy without the pricetag. You also have the option of a high level brakelight fitted to the back of the box. Connected it all up with LEDs on mine too. Good for the price.
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R Yeah I like Kawasakis.
Umm, so the ZX-10r is going to be a commuter? Cool!
I suppose that's a bit like putting a towbar on a Ferrari, but you're right Givi doesn't list one for the 10, although it will supply one for a 12 and a 14. I suppose the RJAYs route might be best, although a Ventura soft case might work as well.

Feck off Rossi!!! the 9 is a SPORTS TOURER !!!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

I have an RJays on my ZZR250, the baseplate is soft as shite, I have to tighten the bolts each fortnight or so. I had a friends SV650 for a couple of weeks, it was fitted with a Givi top box and mount. Rock solid. Now I know why RJays are so cheap
Anyway, there's still a question of fabbing a mount...

Cuz I'm in love
I'm not going to have the top box on all the time, but I don't have a car and still need to do shopping et cetera...

I have a zx6r with a god awful ugly nylex 45 litre crate cable tied to a ventura rack on the back of it and it holds a fair few groceries and other odds and ends.
I am a courier so you need a crate but on the weekend i just remove it and head up the hills.
Its actually way handier then a bag and very weather proof just not very aerodynamic and about 40 bucks at bunnings.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

why dont you get a ventura rack and bag, although its hard to believe you cant get a Givi topbox ?
I cant see any dramas with luggage on a 10, just cause you like to go a long way away, at a very fast pace doesn't make it wierd, does it ?
Hey Mick!
Well, soft bags have their uses but I would feel nervous leaving them on the bike for more than a couple of minutes.
Hehe, and thanks for your support! Frankly I feel a bit scary upgrading to the mighty 10 from my tiny little ZZR (although I had no probs riding the friend's SV650).
