How did you find KSRC..???

Post by MadKaw »

We seem to have quite a few new members of late and just out of interest, it would be good to know how ppl found out about KSRC.
Did you get tagged, see us somewhere, do a web search, someone tell you about us or whatever, it would be good to know how you found us...

I've noticed other groups using KSRC to target specific members to join there group, which means we must be doing something right...:-)

Came across from Yahoo after finding the Yahoo group in Google.

Was before I even got my L's, must have been 4.5-5 years ago.

nah Smitty.. It started as the now defunct Yahoo Clubs in about 99 and we had nearly 300 members before it was merged into Yahoo Groups in 01... We had about 400 - 500 members on the yahoo group before we started the new forum..

Heres the first page of posts on the Yahoo Group
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/KSRC/messages/1

I deleted a few new posts on the old yahoo group as it was just starting to remove the early posts due to size restrictions...

Mine's the second one down.

It looks like I had the GPX250R in for its 1000km service in October 2001...back then it would have taken a while to rack up a 1000km as I didn't get out much except on weekends...

...actually apart from the daily commute I probably get out less now

I've done 52,000km since that first 1000km on my two bikes. 11,000km in my first sixteen months on the GPX250, and 42,000km in thirty-five months on the ZZR. I suppose it explains why my arse is a funny shape and it's a good as an excuse as any other I can think of that doesn't involve old age and food.

How time flies when you're having fun 8)
