Excellent, the idle was always in the 500 to 650 rpm range, I always had the bike serviced at either 'The Bike Doctor' or 'Just Cycles' at Gateshead and usually serviced every 2,000 klms. As I said the handling was excellent and when I replaced the front tyre it had next to no chicken strips. Anyway ...

Thats my old bike, short history, fell over whilst parked on my driveway recently, Put an insurance claim in as no one in Newcastle was willing to quote on the repair, ended up with an insurance quote of $5,000. to fix it..Shannons said that as it was older than 15 years it was an economical write ...

"Alleged" 50 over the limit, automatic disqualification and impound vehicle, the impounding yard out Liverpool way was probably full from the ricers street racing so cheaper/easier to impound the plates and not the bike, just a guess on my part.

Jennysc, ring your local bike shop, they usually have a few on the list to do the 2nd hand bikes that lapse in rego, had one done recently for an interstate purchase and all he did was check numbers, a quick brake test and put his hand out for $34, all done without any problems.
