i got to ride a friend's r1. it was pretty nice. however - it felt small in comparison to my zx9. the front end is pretty light so it is easy for it to 'accidentally' come off the ground.

it's been 5 and a half years for me. i think that i've done about 25,000 miles in that time. the first couple of years i didn't ride that much. over the last year and a half i've put 15,000 miles on my bike.

bought in 2000 - a 2000 yamaha v-star classic 650.

my ex-husband wanted a cruiser. i wanted a sportbike. so we went ahead and got the cruiser. it was fun except i kept dragging the footpegs while going around corners. oops.
