First of great site been browsing through older posts for the last couple of days now, so thought I should finally introduce myself. So as you guys can probably guess my name is adam (Adz) and currently living out in the S.E. Suburbs (Melb.) I am still a newbie in riding terms, as i only just got my leaners 2 months ago. Been riding to and from work on my zzr-250 for the last month and a bit now. Will post some pictures of her when i get home. Bought it with 33,000kms on the clock, for 3,500 so am pretty happy with my new ride. The only real issue i have with her is the horible sounds she makes at idle, but have been told i can fix this by upgrading the exhaust, so will look into this over the coming weeks
Anyway just thought i would introduce as so not to be a stranger
I too just joined up here and I only recently...last saturday got a ZZR250, a 95 model. I know what you are talking about with that sound...it sounds kind of hollow. I am taking my bike in this week to get a tune up and blue slip for rego so I am going to ask them what it is and what I can do to rectify it. I let you know what I find out, unless someone on here already knows.......
Anyway have heaps fun and safe riding.
Cheers
Ben
