How long have you been riding?

Post by Colette »

Hi People,

Just thought with all the new blood in here and the forum growing at a rapid pace, it would be good to get an idea of our collective years of riding experience...sooooo...how long have you been riding a motorcycle?

For me, it is just over 3.5 years.

it's been 5 and a half years for me. i think that i've done about 25,000 miles in that time. the first couple of years i didn't ride that much. over the last year and a half i've put 15,000 miles on my bike.

19 years and owned about 15 bikes (makes me feel kinda old)

I did have a few gaps here and there though, longest I was off a bike would have been a couple of years I reckon.
Motorcycle's are inherently unstable...

Total 31

26 years on the road.

5 years before that on dirt.

Have never not owned a bike since I was 12.

Hmmmm, I think I suddenly feel older.

On and off for 25 years, although road licence for 17 years.

Had a 'break' from bikes for about 7 years, probably 'cos my last one was a GSXR1000! Been back on 'em for 8 months.
