Thanks Jonno, I had contacted of MPE so its good to know that you are happy with what you got. He quoted me $900 to change front and rear springs and fit a high flow front and rear dampning kit to my 05 Z1000.

Thanks a bunch, do you have any photos that show the other side of the bike ?? I am trying to get an idea of how the pipe that bends under the bike looks from the left side of the bike ?? Are you happy with the looks,fit and sound of it ?? After all is said and done the Muzzys look the go, thanks ...

Hey Nelso did you end up getting the IXIL can for your bike ?? If so what does the link pipe look like from the right side and is there any differene in performance and have you got any pics ?? I sent you a PM but i don't think it worked ??

Yep it is for sale. I am going to buy a mates speed tripple with lots of goodies on it if the Z sells, but if it doesn't i am gunna spend some more money on the Z and keep it.6maniac wrote:Wasn't your thou for sale, Peter ?

Do any of you guys know anything about the IXIL exhaust systems on ebay ?? Has anyone bought and fitted it or heard the sound they produce etc,etc. They supply the muffler and two into one conversion that slip onto your original headers. I am just wondering if they stop the clunky gearbox issue on the Z's ??
What sort of "clunky" gearbox issue are you talking about? Adding a shift star / detent arm will make the box really crash into gear very positively, but certainly wont make the 'boxes "smoother".
