Re: IXIL exhaust system
Just checking to see if anyone has bought an IXIL for his/her 2003-2006 Z1000 yet. I still haven't been able to find pictures of this model with one on it.

Re: IXIL exhaust system
Thanks a bunch, do you have any photos that show the other side of the bike ?? I am trying to get an idea of how the pipe that bends under the bike looks from the left side of the bike ?? Are you happy with the looks, fit and sound of it ?? After all is said and done the Muzzys look the go, thanks for the link.
Re: IXIL exhaust system
Not mine Peter, mine is the Orange one with the Arata. Aparently it needed a bit of jiggling to get on. HTHPeter wrote:Thanks a bunch, do you have any photos that show the other side of the bike ?? Yeah, I was looking at getting a Leo Vince GP slip on but I'm not sure like the look on the LHS as it has a 2-1 link pipe like the Ixil.Peter wrote:Thanks dub, I think i will go with the Muzzy pipes, they are a bargain.

Re: IXIL exhaust system
I am actually thinking about getting the slip on Muzzys , they were even cheaper and i like the look of the twin pipes better. So i shouldn't need the PC111.Phil wrote:Peter wrote:Thanks dub, I think i will go with the Muzzy pipes, they are a bargain.![]()

Re: IXIL exhaust system
You can always just make it yourself, as I did with my bike. A bunch of stainless mandrel bends and a short amount of straight and away you go.
On the RHS come up slightly to allow chain clearance, then bend around the shock linkage and merge with the LHS pipe.
