Passing the pits

Hey everyone.
I recently bought a 2001 zx6r ex-track bike. I want to get it registered which means taking it over the pits :(
Does enyone know if fender eliminator kits are street legal and will be passed? Also are clear indicators and brake lights allowed as long as they are the correct distances ...

Re: ZXR Reliability?

Thanks for the info. Are the fairings prone to stress cracking or only as much as any other bike? And do they handle high kms if looked after ie. regular oil changes, filter changes, relatively easy riding etc. ??

ZXR Reliability?

Hey everyone. Im looking at upgrading my bike pretty soon from my current zzr250. I have seen a few well priced older zxr model bikes and was wondering if there are any years or models to stay away from? And are there any models that should be snapped up if available? Im also considering the larger ...

Re: ZZR 250 clutch slip

It's only done probably 350kms since the oil change. I'm getting my license on it and havent been able to get out much unfortunately. The oil i used is the correct SAE and is semi synthetic but i will double check it all tonight to make sure it's all right.

Re: ZZR 250 clutch slip

Thanx dave it's done 62,000kms and it had an oil change about 2 months ago.
I've got tools and and some know-how (not with bikes or clutches conveniently enough haha) so i'll pull it apart and have a look, i might post pics of everything as i don't really what to look for if it's worn.

It only ...

Hey guys i think it's about time the clutch on my bike was changed. I am just wondering is it a reasonably simple job if you use common sense
and what parts will i need to buy ie. how many plates?

zzr 250 rear indicators

Hey guys. My 99 zzr250 has two spots on either side of the rear fairings for indicators that are filled in with a blanker cover. It has two bug eye indicators instead. Are indicators available for the holes in the fairing?
