Hey everyone.
I recently bought a 2001 zx6r ex-track bike. I want to get it registered which means taking it over the pits
Does enyone know if fender eliminator kits are street legal and will be passed? Also are clear indicators and brake lights allowed as long as they are the correct distances apart? Any help will be appreciated thanks.
If you know of anything else that will get me knocked back please share.
Fender eliminators are not ADR. They are no technically illegal in NSw as long as they have the right angles but if they are pedantic then the eliminator won't pass.
Not sure about clear lenses though

Maybe list where you live and see if a member knows a "friendly" mechanic In nsw putting a vehicle back on the road is called a "blue slip" and it really depends on the mechanic what is ok.
A non-bike mechanic might be the best bet, might not even know what a fender is...

Somewhere like my place of work.
Of course I know bikes, but I don't deal with blue slips.

will be putting a bike over the pits myself soon, and have the same thing
Its only $60 to put it over the first time, I dont really believe it should be that much of a problem.
Had my car go over it and they didnt pick the things up i thought they were going to get me on.
I used stirling motors in rockingham found them to be good.
For you east coast people, there's only certain places you can go to get a pink/blue slip done not all workshops do them only a very select few. but once its passed thats it for the life its in WA for 'pink' slips i believe
