Re: Cairns riders

Hi Mate, There are plenty of riders in the Cairns area but probably not many who frequent this site. I go riding when I have the funds & the time, so if you want to meet up some time for a spin up to Port etc, drop a line on here & when I see it I will reply.

Re: are they really that good?

The GPX is a very solid 1st/learner bike, Mine went from Cairns to Brisbane & back half a dozen times without an issue, It pays to check the tightness of the handlebar clipons & footpegs every so often as mine used to come loose.

Re: Red Wolfe Kevlar jeans

Icon are a good brand, they are pretty thick & cut out a lot of shin, ankle heat, they also have great knee vents, they about the same price as Draggin Jeans, I picked mine up from Team Moto.

Re: "Silly" Question on Bike Temperature...

When I took my ZX14 for a test ride it cooked my ankles & calves, when I questioned the dealer he told me they all run hot to help develop peak power levels so I bought the bike & just got thick jeans.

I live in FNQ & the thermo is barely off on a ride through the city, but when I get to the open ...

Re: r jays

I have an Rjays jacket which is 12 years old, still in great nick (ming leather treatment for cars) & am only upgrading due to my waistline not being the same as it was.
The helmets are cheap & nasty but the gloves are OK.
It depends on your budget of course.
is rjays a good brand in gear or should ...

Re: 08 ZX14

The media photos make the flames stand out more than they do in the flesh & the red is a bit deeper.
I bought one from the brochure & loved it at 1st sight. It also gives me a horn every time I ride it.
It is an attention getter as well which has had it's good & bad points. ( Pulled by cops every ...

Re: yoshimura/two brothers online

Morepower Racing is a US company which ships to OZ, they are good to deal with, & once you have an account set up it is a very smooth transaction.

I am fitting a set of Yoshi Slipons to my 08 ZX14, will I need a Power Commander or can I just get the bike retuned at a bike dealer??
