The media photos make the flames stand out more than they do in the flesh & the red is a bit deeper.
I bought one from the brochure & loved it at 1st sight. It also gives me a horn every time I ride it.
It is an attention getter as well which has had it's good & bad points. ( Pulled by cops every ride I go on.)

The best color by far is the 07 blue.. But i am not biased..

No matter what colour, the ZZR14 (It will NEVER be a ZX even without the R) is fucken hideous and even Kawasaki know it (look at the GTR14 and new 10's).
The startled goldfish look was a momentary aberation and the designer has since committed sepaku as required.
Trying to hide it by putting flames on it is like polishing a turd.
In my own humble opinion of course.
The only thing going for them is you cant see how ugly they are when you are riding them (and they ARE a nice bike).
Not unlike a fat chick, it may be good to ride, but would you want your mates to see you on one ??
