not sure he might have had a jet kit, and after market pipe maybe megacycle?? you can always just get your cleaned up n sprayed black again, but they weigh a tonne std zx7r headers, i got a full yoshi on my 7r, happy with it, good luck

ive heard nothing but bad things about delkevic, mate got a set for his zx9r was a pig to tune, ended up putting stock ones back on, id rather just buy a second hand full system with a brand, from the states, my 2cents

what grade oil to put in??
i just had my zx7r motor rebuilt with over sized pistons etc and have run her in for 1000kms, just wondering whate grade oil should i use?? cant get in contact with the builder so might as well ask u guys

i got the same prob with my 97 zx7r, i start it every day and so far its been ok, makes a ticking noise under seat, i find if i pump the clutch while i press the starter it usualy starts too and also tapping on the solenoid also kicks her into life, ive changed the battery and solenoid too but still ...

zx7r starting prob
i have a zx7r 1997 model, and when i go to start it, sometimes it wont start at all, all it makes is a clicking sound under my seat, then when i pump the clutch and press the starter button it kicks into life? i dont know if its a dodgy battery or what, i had the battery fully charged, and left it ...

personaly i love its looks, looks like proper race bike, very tough and still looks modern IMO, they have a strong engine, instant power, u dont have to over rev it to get it going, overtaking is just a twist of the wrist, dont need to gear down, very good brakes, the handling is awesome, definately ...
