NEW STAINLESS HEADERS FOR 96 ZX-7R

Post by QWAKA »

hey guys and girls, can anyone tell me where i can buy new stainless headers for my zx7 in aus? have found in U.S but would prefer to keep my dollars in aus and support local business if possible. or will i have to get them custom made? also i've noticed that the oem headers have a pipe that is attatched horizontally across the front, what is this for and if i get a set of custom pipes made do i need it on them? any info or advice would be appreciated :kuda:

cheers mate, found out there is a delkevic supplier in QLD who stocks them. $430 sounds fair, got a quote today for custom set $680. so no doubt i'll go with delkevic :kuda:

very interesting, did he have standard carbies and pipe? the only reason i'm looking to change is because the oem are mild/soft steel and are rusty, but still in ok condition just look like shit. i did notice that the delkevic headers dont have the horizontal pipe across the front like the stock ones. could this be the problem, and do you know what its for? do you have stock headers on yours? thanks for the heads up bro, glad i haven't ordered them yet :kuda: :kuda: :kuda:
