I would say yes they do, as i had an 04/05 tank fitted to my 06 race bike. It did appear to touch on the top of the airbox a bit. But did bolt up and used the same pump. :D

Yeah it will be the screen that did it, happened on my old ZX6. :( If i remember correctly that was a black tinted screen.

Big thanks to Pete, he was willing to check over my tyre warmer for me as i was concerned it wasn't working properly, turns out it was fine. Could try checking the fuses under the seat. From memory it is the horn fuse that the lap timer runs off. i removed it for a track day and couldnt figure out why the lap timer didnt work. Put it back in, problem solved.

If the Front sprocket nut is anything like that on the ZX10 and has a locking washer behind it then make sure that you have hammered the locking washer completely flat all the way around. I couldnt budge mine and then when i had another go after finidng a large socket and hammer to hammer the washer ...

If there is a washer behind the nut make sure that it is completely flattened out and not touching any of the edges of the nut. i had to go around mine 3 times with a screwdriver and hammer tapping it flat, then the nut came loose straight away, before that (when the washer wasnt quite flat) i bent ...
