Starved of oil indeed...

Due to my lack of responisiblity for not checking the oil, and a small leak, she was down to 50ml's when she packed it in.

Nope... never came on. And it was working I got the light when i switched on my ignition. So yeh... dont ...

Hey guys, my ZZR 250 engine has packed it in... something about my conrod and my crankshaft, but only option is to replace the entire engine.

If anyone, actually has a ZZR 250 engine, or knows any good motorbike wreckers around the upper hunter It would be appreciated. Until then UI shall keep my ...

And my local bike store said new chain $69, front sprocket $19 and rear something like $40 so im happy about that.

Prob still be around $60 -$100 for labour of course.

You're lucky it didn't have you off! How fast were you going at the time?

Do you know why it snapped (eg too loose/rusty/worn) or was the power of the mighty ZZR lump too much for it?

Was in second gear so about 20 - 30 km's... back wheel locked up bit i handled it lol.

Another one of me mates has gone down...

My mate crashed his brand new Suzuki GS500 F last night :(

He hit a kangaroo at 110km/h :shock:

He had to be airlifted this morning to Newcastle hospital at 3.00am. He was only wearing shorts and a jumper. As well as loosing alot of skin he was is in a neck brace for suspected spinal injury ...
