I have to ask. Why does the (not shown) period for 03 - 05 rise?

I also happen to agree that the speed limit multi lane roads could be raised. But that would require spending money. They are still fighting over the Kuranda range upgrade and the road is at 100% loading in peak times now.

We have speed limits because you can not measure stupidity on the side of the road. You can however measure a vehicles speed. Those limits are arbitrary and based on a lot of conflicting influences. They are there so that the lowest common denominator in the least safe vehicle with the least ...

I doubt it. I drive them. An 18000 kg GVM Scania to be precise. I know exactly what they are capable of and exactly what they need in the way of road space.

I also happen to have driven express services in Brisbane peak hour traffic. I can fit a 4.1m wide vehicle down a 4.2m wide lane at 50 kmh ...

Youd also think that a guy on a 2m long 200 kg machine would give a bit more leeway to a 14m long 12000 kg machine... leave the idiocy to the cagers.

HTFU and get on with the riding.

Right, so you have a bussload of passengers.
Who are most definitely your responsibility.
Some of whom may be school children.
A timetable, that I'd guess most of you wouldn't even consider just how stupidly tight they can be.
A blindspot that can be as large as a small car, and thats just the A ...

Sorry Frog, its often a notch on the cops belt and she/he is a little closer to meeting the revenue target.

Mind you the police union would likely be up in arms if he did lose his job.

Its possible; I've never really thought about exactly where that happened. I thought there was a cairn.

I still remember the political feeding frenzy that was the service.
