Hmm. Soft springs? Why would they get soft when they get hot? Is that normal?
I admit anything is possible with this bike though.

Slipping clutch -gpx750
Hi guys.
I posted this question in the 'retro /resto' section but perhaps there are not many of these bikes still around these days.
Anyway, my problem is a slipping clutch. I know there are many reasons why this could be the case so trying to narrow it down a bit.

Firstly I get clutch slip. I have bled the ...

Re: 1988 gpx750 grab bar.
Hey Gaz,
I have been doing the same for my '89 gpx and had the same issue.
Would you believe I called the previous owner on the off chance and he had the handle in his shed???
Worth the call..

Re: 94 zxr750 Won't rev
Bought a new RGV250 back in '93. Just beautiful. Wish I had kept it but hey that's normal wishing I had kept old bikes.
As for the oil leak, I have the same problem with my gpx750 (same engine I think). It's the same place by the sounds of it. It drips on the exhaust too. I was just going to drop ...

Re: GPX750 - project
Ok, before pics I will take. The plans are extensive as although its in general good condition (one owner in 24 years!!) it hasn't been really well maintained. Engine good service, oil, plugs, ht leads, valve check, carby balance. Service gearbox, chain and sprockets replace. Brake hoses, pads ...
