Re: Worth doing?

I've also had my steering dampener redone, difference is night and day. Apparently the only difference internally to an aftermarket Ohlins is there is a hole in the valve to let fluid throguh making it weaker than aftermarket. This hole is soldered up and the dampener now works as it should.

Re: Worth doing?

I will definately give him a call. Like I mentioned I have no complaints with the suspension now, but If someone can even adjust what I already have that could only be a good thing.
FWIW I already have gone down one on the front and up two on the rear sprockets, slip on, x-tre, and a quicker turn ...

Re: Worth doing?

Reason I asked about shock treatment is Wallacia isn't too far from where I live, and Terry did my steering dampener so is the only contact I have with a suspension expert. But Lidcome isn't a problem either so I might give Zenodamper a call.

I have read on a US forum that alot of guys are unhappy ...

Has anyone had Terry from Shock treatment set up their bike? I'm thinking it could be a good thing to do as I haven't changed any settings from standard, but I ...

Re: scrubing in new tyres at a track?

About two months ago I fitted a set of diablo rosa's before my first ever track day. It was also my first ever new tyres and I was already paranoid about scrubbing in new tyres so it didn't help that it rained that day. I was as nervous as anything going out for the first session with new tyres in ...

Re: Blue Slip Inspections

So how did they know whether to give you a pink or blue slip?

I asked for a blue slip originally, was told no longer called that; you need a white slip (not the carbonized white copy you may be referring too).

OK, that's weird. By the way I'm not calling you a liar or having a go or anything ...

Re: Blue Slip Inspections

FWIW, no such thing as a blue slip anymore in NSW, its a white slip. Any work shop that does white slips on cars are authorised to do them on bikes as well.

That may sound stoopid as the workshop may have NFI about bikes; but thats the way the the old RTA had set i up.

It's still called a blue ...

in the manual it says to drain the tank you put it to the PRI setting on the fuel tap, so maybe fuel isnt supposed to come out on the other settings?
