Why what?
Why keep ZRX? Because its a great bike & worth more to me than I could sell it for.

Re: Latest ZRX mod - in
Strangely enough I am going the opposite way with my GEN2 Busa & removing the OEM slipper clutch to improve launch capabilities on the dragstrip.
Never felt there was aproblem with the ZRX clutch, if I had big compression maybe, but with 10:1 compression, yes it would lock & slide into corners ...

Re: Qld Gov Anti-Motorcyle Police powers - Are you against t
Well, protest rally held in Mackay attracted 130 bikes, approx 30 patched members.
Approx 30 police, uniformed & detectives.
All bikes were detained & only allowed to leave after they presented themselves in groups of 4 to the police for licence checks then Drug & Alcohol testing.

Please sign if you are against the new powers that are being/have been given to Qld Police to pull over any group of 3 or more motorcyclists to search & scrutinize.

Hey just saw this on ZRXOA;

Thats from an Aussie board member, posted 18/2/2013.
Actually says ARE in post not PWR, but is corrected in a later post.

Re: Radiator leak 05 zrx
Mine suffered the OEM failure around 80,000 klms = 8yrs old.
Replaced with Delkivic, first Rad was obviously on the piss when I opened the box, sent back.
No new ones avail in OZ, so was replaced with a new one direct from the factory in China, took 2 weeks.
New one has done about 28,000 klm's ...

Aahh, Bugger.
If it was a Gunfighter I would all over it like a fat kid on a donut
Looks like they are selling $250/280 2nd hand in US, pending condition.
Good luck with the sale.

Maybe a Bagster Tank Cover while you save the required reddies for the paint.
Or for similar dollars or a few more forget the OEM paint scheme & go custom.
I thought there was some fine gold & other colours in that models green paint?

Re: ZRX Alternator Chain Tensioner Fix
I did Kwik's alternator chain tensioner fix yesterday. I bought his "fix" after having a good look at my clutch cover plate, and the multitude of indentations from the tensioner hitting it at start-ups. Bike has 108,000km. Kwik's fix didn't take long to install. Scraping off the old side cover ...
