I want to replace the front brake pads. They have plenty of meat left but when I push it into the garage I can hear them scrapping a little but when I'm riding I can hear a definite scrapping kinda noise when braking. I have cleaned all of the pistons just the other week and the pads have been on ...

I questioned the guy about my bike being a carby bike and he said I KNOW IT IS, I HAVE WORKED ON 100'S. then he went on to say that the cleaner would help to remove any water in the fuel and that if it did not fix it he would look at it this Tuesday when he does the service.

I filled up about a week ago, I did not wash it over the weekend. I did book it in for a mobile service yesterday and the guy said to put a bottle of injector cleaner in it as this will remove any water from the fuel and clean things up.
He said to run it for 200 k's and he check it next week ...

I went out to ride to work this morning and my 99 zx9 took a bit to start and then run a little rough while I put my gloves on.
Once I got out onto the road it was missing quite a bit. sort of a rapid missing sound and rough running.
I took it around the block and pulled the choke on and off ...

This was on TV a while ago, a guy goes fishing to catch all kinds of monsters. I forget what the show s called.

Last weekend I took a zx10 for a test ride, it was a nice sunny day and about 20 deg ish. But what I found was the amount of heat from the engine/frame on my legs where they rest on the bike was unpleasant.

I have a 99, zx9 and I am looking at a 2006 or 2007 zx10.
I did not know the pegs where adjustable? and is there room to lift the bars much?

I am just wondering if there is a huge difference in the zx10r riding position as far as the bars go compared to my 9?
I am wondering if there will be a lot more weight on my wrist and elbows on a 10?
I will be mostly commuting, occasional weekend hill run and maybe a couple of 100+ k runs ...

Here is the bike in question, I rode past the shop this morning and see it is still for sale but the others I saw last Sat are sold. I wonder whats wrong with it?
It also comes with a box of all the original parts, done about 29500K's
