2006 zx10 and heat

Post by gunn parker »

Hi All
Last weekend I took a zx10 for a test ride, it was a nice sunny day and about 20 deg ish. But what I found was the amount of heat from the engine/frame on my legs where they rest on the bike was unpleasant.
I ended up having to hold my legs out from the bike to cool off, and it's not even summer yet. These must get way hot to ride in summer?
Has anyone else found this?
Cheers.

I've never had any issues with my heat wise. Always wear leathers, have commuted on 40 deg days
