Shiiiit thats rough, yeah I might just go ahead and plug this one .. its a battlax bt45 with 3.5k on it, still scrubbing in the edges so it's tough to justify a new one just yet

Certainly does rob, I'm heading right over for a fresh tank of BP Ultimate, if it happens again I may just siphon the tank, drain the carby floats and cross my fingers ..
Bonester, it does have a fuel tap under the fairings as I've discovered, will keep this in mind if it happens again.

Well after all that I tried turning it for 20 minutes thismorning and it kicked .. I suspect it was flooded, gave it no choke, opened the throttle and tried turning it over before it finally kicked in ..
Of course this happened once I removed all my side fairings ... heres an inside shot for those ...

Ok that gives me some more precise direction, cheers Rob .. I'll check the sparks now too, else my guess is tomorrow afternoon will involve checking for flooded carbs

stands up, clutch in with neutral engaged .. swapped out the ignition fuse even though it looked alright, nothing changed. All my other electrics are fine so that rules out fuses ..

Know of any way to checkl the cable Tim??
Shes got petrol but running on the low side, within the last quarter tank .. can still see fuel though if I pop open the lid. Tried with and without choke. The webs leading me to believe the flooding theory Reedy .. if it doesn't turn over tomorrow I might ...

Hey all ..
So I finished installing an R&G Racing Fender Eliminator last night, left the bike overnight and today then tried starting it to head to uni tonight and she wouldn't fire .. she tries to turn over (I only try in 4-5 second intervals) and it sounds like a strong effort but never kicks in ...

What I hate about these statistics is who knows how many of those accidents were drivers cutting in front of bikes or running lights.
