On average with front and rear tyre changes, I get 7200klms out of a set. (A little more for the front, and a little less for the rear). they cost me 400, but lets use a fairly universal tyre price as a reference for the sake of this exercise.
7200 klms = 1 set of tyres = @$480. Fuel used for this same distance based on a n average of 6 l / 100klms at an average price of $1.36 =@$580.
Then take rego and insurance into it. $450 and $550. Plus average maintainance for that distance of $170. Giving a grand total of $1170 for this bit.
Lets say a rider does 15K per year, then cost of ownership is going to be a total of 2X$480+2X$580=$2120 + $1170 =$3290 for the year.
Which gives you an average per K of 22c/klm.
So every ride I do of say 500klms really costs me $110.

This of course doesn't take into account depreciation. Let's say we depreciated the bike at a nominal figure of say 18% per year. So end of year one, our 15k bike is now worth $12,300 and has lost $2700. Now if we add that to running costs.......... we get about.........
$0.40c / Klm

So really every 500 k ride I do costs me $200.00

I may have to give up riding at this rate

Should we factor in speeding tickets and court costs?
