Everytime i fill up i do try and squeeze as much in as possible but i don't overflow the thing. After the last couple of fill ups, on accelerating down the road, i've noticed a cooling sensation around the 'boys'. On looking down, i've noticed that the gonads are being cooled by premium unleaded which is gently flowing down from the cap seal. A great result when i turn up to a date last night smelling of Eau'de Caltex.
its brand new and i've never had this on previous bikes.
So have i got a leak, or am i a fuc*wit?
Any thoughts appreciated, cheers all.

You're a fuc*wit
Try putting just a little bit less fuel in. They never seal real tight, otherwise the tanks would dent, etc from expansion.

As it was once said to me, always have your smoko & food breaks BEFORE filling up.
When asked why, the knowing sod said this "simple, fuel expands and will overflows out of the keyhole while you sitting on your arse."
If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.

yeah ok, i see its pretty bloody obvious now, just hadn't had it happen before is all.
wasn't actually a bad sensation actually, but must have been the reason why the lass last night wouldn't go anywhere near the groin.
cheers

There should be an overflow to stop it going onto the fellas, check the tube is attached and not blocked.

there is a metal sleeve just inside the cap in the tank, you are not suppose to fill above that, if you do it will happen.
well mine does anyway

thanks for the confidence builder neka
actually she's emailed me back and wants another shot at the title. she didn't seem that keen in the pub, but it was obviously when she left, she saw team green outside, got moist herself and now wants a 'ride'.

certainly doesnt happen on my bike....
But I dont fill it right up to the top, just to the bottom of the metal sleevy thing...
Not sure what bike you have, but Duane's ZX7R leaks a bit when it is parked with its nose UP a hill... so I assume it would happen if he accelerates fast too...
