Visor display
Visor display
Anyone watch Beyond Tomorrow last night. They had a part on a new visor display. A small wireless box that hooks to your helmat visor that shows your speed, gear and rpm in your preferal vision on the visor. Heres the site if any one interested in a look. Its called MC2.. http://www.sportvue.com/store/mc2.php It looks like a great idea to me. Specially if you own a zx10, as I new know how hard it was to see the bloody tacho.
Cheers Sean
There doent seem to be a supplier in Aus yet, but closet one is NZ. http://www.4u2c.co.nz/

i saw that, i wonder if it can be made with a shiftlight
other than that i'm not really interested.
if you need to look at your speed ALL the time, your not thinking enough about whats goin on on the road.

Thats the idea of it. So you dont have to look down all the time. And with the pressure police are putting on road users, I am checking my speeds a little more than usual, specially when youve got to rely on your license for work and only have a couple of points left..
See radar alert - speed - gear - rpm even while cornering
Won't interfere with forward vision*
Powerful helmet mount-track tested to over 160 MPH
Wireless, lightweight, adjustable display
Three (3) light settings for day/night use
Programmable shift indicator
Fits late model bikes and full face helmets
Twenty (20+) hours on AAA batteries

Is SportVue MC2 distracting?
No. When properly installed, SportVue display image will be visible just
above the dominant eye. In fact, since you dont have to look down, the
SportVue potentially gives you quicker access to information than
glancing at motorcycle guages

Would be nice if it wern't such a fugle device sticking above the visor. What issues does it have with insurance claims for a helmet, how does it stand up in a crash (do you end up with screen floating inside the hat)?
Nice piece of bling tho, but would need to get a radar decector too, just to make it worth while
