I bought all my alpinestars gear from USA and i found those charts were pretty accurate.
I was nervous as hell waiting for them to arrive worrying that they would be the wrong size but the worst case scenario is to sell them on ebay.
I had no problems though
You could go into a store locally and try some on to get the size first before ordering. thats probably a bit mean to the nice store assistant

Problem is trying to find somewhere that has a decent range of a-stars in a decent range of sizes...
Bit of a catch-22 situation.

i did the same thing for my boots but i told the guy up-front. he was cool as got me bout 5 different types of boots. Guess he doesnt get much of a commission.
