Bikemania is bitterly disappointing...
I went to "bikemania" today with 400 big ones to by a leather jacket and boy was i disappointed, not only did i not get my jacket because no one was selling them but i didn't see one sports bike display in the place.
I had never been to one of these shindigs before but i expected to see all the major bike companies in all their glory but as it turned out i was extremely let down.
Next year i'm gonna give my missus $20 to buy clothes and get her to kick me in the nuts and presto same way i feel about "bikemania"
p.s got a good deal on a AGV 1.4mm leather ($369)on the way home from a lovely lady at team moto so its not all bad.

Joe Rocket have a booth all to themselves. Heaps of jackets n gloves there.
And there's also the Hit-Air jacket which is bloody overpriced.
Surprise to see many booth selling communications setups and ear-moulds
Good: Indoor, especially good for this kind of hot weather.
Bad: Too bloody expensive. Not that many chicks...
Luckily I got in for free as an exhibitor. I wouldn't pay $18 for that kind of setup.

the Trials and MotoX displays were very entertaining
The rest of the show sucked. Was good to see the 06 R6 in the flesh though. I also entered a competition to win free track days for a year at the Champions Ride Days stand.
Definitely not worth the money I spent getting myself and the girlfriend in though.

I went to that F##king thing as well. Four hour trip from Bundy ( and not even on the bike) just to see a heap of over cromed iron pigs. The one redeeming bike being "Judge" the street fightered ZX9, but I'm a bit biased on that model of course. Good to see a few street bikes outside though.
