Picked up the ZX7 single seat tail and megacycle pipe yesterday!
Started mucking around this afternoon and almost have it to a point where I can think about securingthe tail permanently. I just need a ZX7 seat and tail light so I can use it to help line up the tail some more before bolting it up.
ANyway, so far so good, might go for a little more lift/angle towards the back if anything. Im planning on painting it stock ZXR750 H1 colours to match the rest of the bike.

Mate, well done, perhaps just a touch more lift at the back, but looks pretty good,
Good luck with it.
Cheers

dj - I plan on keeping the front fairings. Ive just taken them off to clean and replace everything. But having said that, who knows!
Tape - I will have to make new mounts, I just have to work out how! This is my first attempt at doing such work and its a steep learning curve. I'm sure I'll nut it out but its going to take longer than I thought. I'll let you know how I did it, and then I'll let you know an easier way!

James, the bike is looking great, much more loved than when I saw it at Port Macquarie.
I agree, lift the rear up a little, and it will look schmick!
Cheers,
Anne

thats lookin' good mate, just about the right level of *lift* on the ducktail, you wouldn't want to go much higher than that.......
will be interesting to see how it looks when you finished.

Thanks guys,
Its been a lot more work than I thought it'd be, but I want to get it as right as possible. Still a lot more work to do before its finished.
Matchan - I made a shorty pipe the other day. Im not sure whether I will use it on the ZXR though as Ive got the megacycle now. If not I'll probably end up selling it. Looks kinda coll though I thought. I cut about 180mm off the length.
