6. Loris Capirossi ITA Ducati Marlboro Team 1min 31.6 secs
7. Kenny Roberts USA Team Roberts 1min 31.65 secs
8. Shinya Nakano JPN Kawasaki Racing Team 1min 31.86 secs
9. Makoto Tamada JPN Konica Minolta Honda 1min 31.88 secs

(Note that Rossi is at Valencia testing the Ferrari F1. Although it rained on the first day and he was unable to get any laps in. Yamaha will test at Qatar.)

De puniet and Pedrosa bothed binned it today in the wet at turn 1. Both unhurt, and Casey binned it at 11! :D ....Oh he's OK too apparently! :wink:

Roberts is riding for team roberts...now im confused....is that team roberts SR proton or woteva they using?? or is he still riding for Suzuki??

didnt see Vermuelan on the list..so is roberts still with Suzuki or is Hopkins the other rider??

Roberts is riding for what used to be KR-Proton. KR standing for Kenny Roberts, as in Kenny Roberts Snr. Team Roberts as they are now known are using their own frame and a Honda engine.

Hopkins and Vermulean are riding the Suzukis.

Factory Yamaha and Suzuki are not testing at PI this week. Thats why their times are not up.

His best time was done on a qualifing tyre though. Don't know about the other lot. Thing is, that time is still about what, .8 of a sec off last years pole.

But yeah, good stuff by Nakano, that dude kicks arse.
