I would rather piss in my tank after a huge night on the bourbon, than use ethanol-polluted fuel in my bike.......

The only reason to buy it is if you feel sorry for the cane farmers that have persisted in pursuing a not very profitable, highly competitive industry where they are losing market share to cheaper international imports. It isn't new, this has been happening for a decade at least.

Now they want you to support their lack of ability to change by making ethanol additives compulsory. Politicians only care because marginal seats often make the difference in an election.

If that's all I could get my hands on, I'd use it, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

Gos's technical evaluatiuon of the merits or otherwise of ethanol is probably about as scientific as required.

Spend a couple of cents and stick the good shit in it

Reason Politicians care about it is due to the clean air policy that they are suppose to do but i think 2011
And the matter of there only being about 38 years of oil at the current rate of use

Ethenol isnt that bad at 5% blend ........ as long as it doesn't leave it's Ethenol state (Seperate due to water) cause 100% ethenol is a bad thing

Lucas, if upper ecehelon Government seriously gace a shit about clean air we would have signed the Kyoto protocol and actively done something to try reduce our Green house gas emissions and that's not happening from where I sit. We're making fuck all efforts to supposrt alternbative electricty for starters.

Re the oil shortage, ther eis no doubt we are running out but I think they've been quoting 38 years of oil left for the past 38 years at least :) Don't believe we'll see a serious oil shortage in a while yet unless of course the Middle East plays hard ball and decides not to sell their oil and that won't happen as it's their main avenue of income.
