LOL! Those Farken Harleys...

Post by chameleon »

I did the split at the lights on a 3 lane road today and splitting them with me, but between the other lanes, was this huge hog with a back tire that looked like it was off a drag car. He had passed me a km back like he owned the road and I was tempted to give my little 1100 a good gut full away from the lights but I promised myself to take it easy for a month or 2 so when we got the green I pulled off with just enough power to scamper well away from the cars. Well this Farken harley rider thought it was on for young and old and I could hear it roaring up behind me as I clicked up a couple of cogs. Finally it moved past me, flat out as far as I could tell, but I dared not look across cause I was laughing, I hadn't even taken my bike over 5000 rpm

I notice the scooter riders are bad at it as well.

i just wave to everyone to cover all bases.

Sometimes when im out on my bicycle i nod passing motorcycles out of habit.

The secret is out though about the no nodding cruiser riders.
It's simple they're too embarresed to wave and and acknowledge some one has actually seen the riding their cruiser. If you were on a cruiser would you want to draw attention to yourself.
Like the joke about fat chicks and mopeds. Same applies here. Except theyre not fun to ride.

I'm glad my hog didn't take the LH sweeper up onto the freeway as I did else I may have been embarressed  I was on my way back from the shop with a very waxy new Pilot on the front and I might have had to let him beat me through. I hate that *not knowing* feeling
