G'day all
I'm new, funnily enough. I met someone while shopping at a Safeway that recomended the place, and from what I've seen, they weren't wrong to do so. This place rocks!
I'm a Melbourne boy, western suburbs.
I've got a ZZR 250 that I've had for about 4 years now. Looking at getting something bigger soon. I've got big dreams though... I'm thinking of heavily customizing my next bike. Custom paint primarily though.
My ZZR has been in a couple of accidents, once I was hit by a woman in a hurry backing out of a parking spot, another time it was hit while it was parked, and nocked over. Right after I had it all repaired and painted from the previous accident, broke my heart so it did.
I grew up with motorcycles in the family, My Dad had in my lifetime, a GPZ 550, 2 GTR 1000's and now a BMW R1150RT.
I'm not overly mechanical, though with my fathers help I am learning how to do all the work on my bike. I feel everyone should be able to do at least basic maintenance on their veichles. I can't afford mechanics to repair my bike though, so I save money by doing the work myself, with my fathers assistance and guidence. He has had more bikes than what I listed, and worked on even more, so it's been a good deal.
I'm still learning though, so feel free to give me advice.
I look forward to my time here.

Welcome, great to see another westie (West Footscray here), also on a ZZR250.
Slowly but surely, we're shifting the demographic centre of the KSRC member base from Brighton Kawasaki to Race Replica Motorcycles in Brooklyn!
At this rate, It won't be long before the regular meets will happen at Godfather's Pizza instead of Dendy Deli!
