I've used it on car windscreens and it is excellent...

However, i seem to remember it not being suitable for helmet visors. Probably worth checking out first. :?

it's suitable. i used to polish it onto the visor after a good clean, was brilliant

another product worth meantioning is bugoff for the front of your bike (wash ya bike with it, and even undiluted bugoff as like a polish so the bugs dont stick)

I tried it on a HJC clear visor and it ruined it, not to say it will not work on other types of plastic, must be some active ingredient at work that causes it.
Mr Sheen works fine for me, or silicon as mentioned above. For fogging inside my sheild I use the scuba divers trick

Dishwashing detergent polished onto the inside of a visor will stop it from fogging, alternatively for a longer lasting approach, fogcity's are worth every cent

I use a fog city visor for the inside and scott antifog for the outside, i believe rain-x will destroy some visors (says so on the pack)

I bought the Rain-X for my helmet. Have used it a couple of times and the visor is fine. It's just a pity that the shit doesn't work....
