Next time out I'm going to try weighting the outside peg, as I'm already hanging off.
You should start doing this sooner rather than later - and on the road too - as it gives you a lot more grip on the tarmac, which gives you more chance of staying shiny side up... or even better means you can corner harder and get more power down earlier
It also helps you turn the bike faster (as you're pushing the peg and the bar opposite each other) which is great when you need to suddenly tighten you rline due to debris, cars, etc. I told a long-term rider to do it the other day and he said he'd learned more about riding that day than he had in years.
I was feeling so good about myself too.
Ah but now you know you can do it, you have something to aspire to - being off the seat properly and still scraping the peg. I like a challenge
