Hey guys

Post by RichB »

Hey guys,
I'm new to kawasakis and this website but have been viewing the forums keenly for the last few weeks.

I'm in Brisbane and have been roadriding for a few years and have had a mixed bag of bikes in that time. My last bike was a late model trx850 which had a nice engine, but it handled like a pie. So I vowed the next bike would have to have handling first and power second. I picked up an 05 zx6r (636) a few weeks ago from a private sale and have been smiling ever since. It's got the handling well covered and 50% more power too, ha ha.

Anyway, thanks for having me, I look forward to catching up sometime in the forums or out on the roads.

Cheers,
Richard

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

What's a pie handle like? :?

(I'm reminded of a scene from the movie "American Pie", but I don't think that's what you had in mind. I'm guessing you meant pie as in "sloppy" or possibly pie as in "too hot to handle?")

Thanks guys, and when I say handled like a pie, yup, that's exactly what I meant. Personally I had thought of it like a meat pie but each to their own :)
Yeah the 636 is awesome, I just have to iron out a few bugs the previous owner gave it and I'll be back on track!
