just got a new Micron can for my 9, the so called 'fitting instructions' were crap...a paragraph to tell me whats in the kit, great, like l cant see what l got.
just a quick question, the fitting kit had 1xaluminium spacer and 2x nylon spacers, after some fiddling found that neither of the nylon spacers were required, but since they were supplied should they be fitted???
looked at a mates R6 with a Yoshi and his has no nylon spacers, so l 'm guessing mine is fitted right...rode it nd everything seems right.
any opinions/experiences would be a little reassuring.

My slip-on Yoshi on my 6R has no spacers. It fits straight on to the OEM pipe.
I hope this helps.

My Art didn't use spaces either.
One thing I did notice was there was a slight exhaust leak so I removed it and run a small bead of muffler puty around the gasket and problem solved

Are the washers and spacers meant for the Passenger foot peg mount yes ?. If so my Remus used a washer but a spacer/s would make the can mount sit flatter on the bottom of the footpeg assembly.
