anyone in Sydney got a Plastex kit

Post by mike-s »

Hey guys, part of my fairing next to my screen has kinda cracked a lot & isnt beinh held on by much. I need to get hold of some plastex to fix it. I was wondering two things.

1) Does anyone in Sydney have a kit i can borrow? (i need bugger all filler, its just joining a split in the plastic)
2) If i have to buy the kit, how long have you had to wait to get it delivered from the Melbourne distributor?
3) Do any bike shops in sydney sell the kits?

Cheers.

Is that the same type of stuff that frozzie sells ???? .

No it is not the same stuff, but the Plstex might be better than my magic plastic for a cracked fairing. Throttle Stop (Moto FX) should have a bit of both.

Otherwise you should be able to find some Plastex at MCA a MAW!

Newcastle Kawasaki is where I got my Plastex kit from... I'd be surprised if you couldn't find it at a local dealer. Alternatively, ring the Plastex distributor and ask who your local reseller is.
