Kawasaki apparently are going to go the way of the belly pan exhaust... you wont even know there is an exhaust there...

Although this looks kinda cool

That ER-6 is a bit different   it actually gets a rap as well in the latest AMCN, from Glyn Kerr " Legendary Pommie Bike Designer-Genius" - but those footpeg hangers :x :x :x they are :vom: :vom: :vom: :vom: spectacularly UGLY !! foot peg hangers are not a *major* part of overall design ? they need to look good, but bloody hell, those are fully gross.

Zorst look trick :P

cheers 8)

Nova said FZ1, not R1... and the bike on that postage stamp does look like an FZ1 with a cast-aluminium frame and the current-generation R1 engine with the canted-forward cylinder block... which, if that's the route Yamaha have gone with it, makes one wonder what they would've done to make that engine suitable for a naked big-bore... the current R1 has the engine charactristics of a 600... there's literally nothing below 7,000rpm.

That belly pan exhaust looks like they stole it off a Buell, and they're just plain ugly
