I am trying to put a centre stand on my 900 A1, how the hell do you get the spring on ? does anybody know ??

Yep.... Vice grips and pull hard..... be prepared to swear alot... prick of a job but can be done.

Shit, here I was hoping someone would come back and say "go to supercheap an buy the $3 spring expander and its a piece of piss" ah well thanks guy's !

Try and work out where the spring is LEAST extended- that will be either stand down or up, then try and get them on.....they are a bastard to get on- multigrip pliers is what I used- another way might be to use a screwdriver over the point where you want the spring to be and use it to lever the spring over..... :shock:
