Handlebar Straps

Post by mrmina »

Guys and Girls

I've been looking into these for motorcycle transport, i.e on back of ute, tralier etc. I'm looking at getting some.

Who else would be interested?

These are about $40 in the shop. I can get them for about $25+postage (which will be about a couple of dollars).

Its only the handlebar strap. Not including the Tie down.

Interests: (Total so far: 20 Units)

me too I already have a set of those but that price is pretty good, there way better than trying to get a strap around the fork leg etc.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Stuff it, if it goes ahead for about $25 +p&p I'm in. Could always do with a spare.

(paypal or direct transfer be ok for payment when the time comes?)

We bought 2 sets, they are good, work well. I paid $40 each so whatever ya get them for below that is a bargain.

Cheers

There is a collar on each side that slides over the grip.

The webbing attached to the left hand collar goes across and slides through the right hand collar and has a loop in it for a tie down hook.

So you sort of pull them apart, slide each collar over the bar then tie it down. There's a lot mor surface pulling on the grip so it doesn't damage them like using a tie down can.
