Pity you're not in Melbounre, I could giver your bike a run and give you a graph with any number you like on it
Using different "standards" gives different results. Using a dyno to get a number is wrong. It should be used for diagnostics and comparisons. Do a run, make a mod do a run. Run 1 gives a vluse of 1, run two might give a value of 1.1 or .99 and you know if you're going in the right direction or not.
They're fun to run bikes on back to back for bragging rights too
But to simply pull a number off it doesn't mean much, it's just a number.
He's got impressive numbers though. 158 to 195 is great
Every shed should have one

...snip..
exactly..and also for tuning/tune up purposes
I saw what happened with mine when it went on about 3 yrs ago
before/after zorst fitment and fiddle with timing chain to get cam timing spot on followed by a carb fiddle..ooops tune
rear wheel hp went from about 95 (from memory) to about 105 with all that
took about an hour and a bit of fiddling/screw driver use
and a new set of plugs and air filter as well
was a different bike
cheers

Yep, I've locked the 9 or 12 thread as that had gone too far...aardvark wrote:I don't delete or edit too many posts, but this is ridiculous. Please keep your petty name calling and abuse to private emails.
Looks like the moderators may have to start moderating if this happens again...
