Hi there folks,
I am part way through putting together a KH100 to wobble around the track on, I keep reading more and more about modifications and getting more and more confused.
For example - I finished my day in the workshop yesterday after carefully designing and hand crafting a really clever battery holder bracket to go in the seat cowl - only to read today that I probably don't need a battery for a track bike as it only ever powered the lights on a road bike (!).
So I am hoping someone here might pop their head up and offer some pointers.
So far I am planning to run premix in the tank, remove the oil pump, fit a 1mm oversize piston and maybe a Mikuni VM28 ...
All other advice appreciated!
KH100 bucket racer build - anyone out there done this?

There is some black art to porting two-strokes, but the gains can be phenomenal. I doubt that Schnuerle Porting is an option for a DIY addition if it isn't there. A tunable length expansion chamber exhaust definitely is though!

Yep - a tunable expansion chamber is on the wish list. I think I have found a place in Broadford that makes them.
As far as that black art goes, I am looking for a teacher.
