Find my late Dads bike

Post by norcoengage »

Hi
my dad past away recently and was a massive motor head. Loved everything that has and engine and makes noise. One of the best thing I inherited from him
i am trying to find his old Kawasaki ZRX 1100 he sold yrs ago to get himself out of debt. I know it is one thing he always regretted doing.
** unique mods are
* purple seat, purple bag frame, extra tail light, fog lights.
* also was layer down on the right side

any leads or info would be amazing. We are from Victoria, Australia

thanks for looking and I hope you can help

Hey mate,

Your dad had great taste in motorcycles! I've been around ZRX's for a while but can't remember seeing this one around but I'll keep an eye out.

If you dont have any luck here, you could also try the ZRX Owners Association (zrxoa.org) and go to their forum or there's a few ZRX Facebook pages: Kawasaki ZRX Australia & ZRX1100/1200

Good luck :D

Do you have frame number, rego number? If you do could do a rego check in each state. Could check PPSR site- $2 check will tell you if it was written off- be careful there to get the correct site- plenty will give you that info at higher cost.
I understand getting an old bike back. Took me 16 years to find my GPZ900R and buy it back. Not selling it again!
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

all good advice that - and yeh, buying back an old bike is something that made me smile in 1994, when I got the Black Pearl back :) never to be sold again.
