Insurance time..

So what are you paying for insurance these days.?

Just go my renewal - $402 for a 2010 Z1000 with $1000 for accessories and $1000 for gear.?

Anyone got better.?

I'll have to check the Rex and the Katey. I'm still with Shannons but that sounds pretty sharp.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

have the barge with SWANN

paying $52 a month (inc helmet replacement and $1000 of clothing and accessories)
plus an agreed amount of $8000 for a write off

You need to change - mine is $33 a month.

Swann used to insure the H2 was around $1100.00 per year but then they suddenly increased it to 2,500.00 a year :shock: so screw them shannons now have it $1100.00 a year agreed value $27000.00. I have the zx9 with real insurance $300.00 a year for agreed value $6,000.

It seems real insurance redirect to Famous for their bike insurance.
That's who I'm with. Looks like I will stick with them.. :D

just got both the cars re-insured thru Famous after AAMI sent the premiums into orbit
(40% up and no claims !) so will look to Famous when the barge is due in January coming

Just beware with Real Insurance (admittedly over 6 years ago) I made a claim and because it was over their threshold ($7,000) I had to wait 6 weeks for the money. It wasn't a problem for me at the time as my bike was not my primary mode of transport and I had the cash to buy another bike in any case.

Found some other insurance companies had similar policies.
