Hello,
I am after some advice please. I am a newbie and would love an ZZR250 as my learner - so many good reports and decent prices. However, despite being listed as an approved learner in the Red Book it doesn't appear in the SA Approved Motor Bike list. The SA list contains a general statement about other bikes being acceptable if they do not exceed 260ml AND have a power to weight not exceeding 10 KW/Tonne. I think that the ZZR250 doesn't meet the power to weight rule, but this seems all very odd when bikes like the 2009 650L are included. Can anyone please help or point me to where I can get some advice?
Many thanks.

Re: SA approved motorbikes
In Queensland LAMS are ALL 250s minus about 6 X two stroke bikes (RGV250 and the like) I am sure ZZR250 is LAMS for you. (I am a QLD motorcycle instuctor) I own a ZZR250. Great bikes!

2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R
Yeah I like Kawasakis.
